Final Cut Feedback

Feedback from final video once showed to class-

Camerawork-
Plain shots
Work with the song
Simple
Sky shot-too long
Random shits
Pan is good from picnic to tree



White boarder- worked well-gave the impression of dreaming and heaven. (some people said it looked too cheesy.)
-also it covers his face during the tree shot so you cant tell that he is even singing.

Performance-
very cheesy and not convincing.
At some points it looks awquard-eg the hug
Wrong way round with the boy n girl
They look too old to be in the park
-pub scene is very good acting.

Editing-



Argument and forward is really good the rest is not as good.
Strong narrative-comes across very well, everyone understood it.

Mise-en-scene-
Locations are good, especially the pub scene.
Lighting looks good in pub shots-they work well with the colour of the shot glasses.

Demands from record label-
2nd half- does defiantly meet the demands
more lip syncing is needed

intertextuality-
Drink driving adverts- a few from current television
Has a very film like feeling and narrative.

Lyrics/Music/Visuals-
We could have died-car crash people all understood this as they could have died but didn’t.

Conclusion-
Different video to most as it has a strong narrative
Filmic feel-good
